Change of Address filed by an Attorney

Effective December 20, 2018, a new event was created to file a Change of Address.
There are two local forms created to report Change of Address. Please use the appropriate form located on our external Website under Forms > General Forms.
Local Form, G-14, Change of Mailing Address for Debtors
Local Form, G-15, Change of Address for Creditor
Note: Local Form G-15 Change of Address for Creditors will allow you to report a change in the notice address, payment address, or both.
Undeliverable Notices from the BNC
Whenever a notice is undeliverable, the BNC will send a Notice of Undeliverable Mail to the attorney for debtor. Please update the form with the correct address(es) and file in CM, using this event.

This event can be used to file a change of address for the creditor, debtor, joint debtor, or other party.
Step-by-Step Procedures:

Select [Bankruptcy or Adversary>Other]
-
Enter case number, click Next

The verification screen will display. Verify you are docketing on correct case.
/If yes -
Select Change of Address, click Next

Select party from pick list or Add/create new party (if applicable), and click Next

If the association screen displays when the attorney / party association does not exist, access Association Screen process to determine if association should be created, and click Next

The following reminder will appear, click Next

The selection screens will display
Individual case, select the appropriate party, and click Next
If Multiple Creditors selected go to step 10Joint case, select the appropriate party, and click Next
If Multiple Creditors selected go to step 10 -
Follow the instructions below based on the party selected in Step 8
Creditor selected
Select the address which is being changed, click Next
Enter the name of the party the address change is for, and click Next
Enter new notice address, or new payment address or both, and click Next

Browse, View , and Attach pdf , click Next

The Final Text will display. This is your final opportunity to modify the entry before submitting the filing

Verify the accuracy of the docket text. If not correct/if correct

Click Next to complete filing process.
The court will update the party's address change the following business day.
The Notice of Electronic Filing will display. It is the verification that the filing has been sent electronically to the court.
Copies of this notice and the document filed are emailed to all participants who receive electronic notification in the case. You have a period of 15 days for a one timefree look at the document filed
